Resilient Hearts is an 8-week guided group experience for those recovering from the impact of narcissistic abuse. It is loosely based on the time-tested principles of 12-step recovery — an approach that has helped millions of people worldwide move through addiction, dysfunctional family systems, relationship trauma, eating disorders, and many other life experiences that can block us from living authentically and fully. While Resilient Hearts is not a therapy group, it offers a safe, supportive space for reflection, growth, and connection. Through the adapted 12-step framework, weekly live Zoom sessions, guided reflections, journaling prompts, and community sharing, participants learn to break free from old survival patterns, rebuild self-trust, set healthy boundaries, and begin creating lives aligned with their values and inner truth.
Resilient Hearts is for anyone who has lived through the pain and confusion of narcissistic abuse — whether in your family of origin, a romantic relationship, or another toxic dynamic. This program is for you if:
"I didn’t realize how much the narcissistic abuse had shaped my life until I joined Resilient Hearts. For the first time, I felt truly understood — and I finally had words for what I’d experienced. The support of the group and the clarity of the steps helped me start making changes I never thought possible."— Sarah M.
"What I loved about Resilient Hearts was that it wasn’t just talk — it was a clear path forward. The adapted 12 steps gave me something solid to work with, week by week, and I could feel myself making progress. The small group felt so safe and supportive — everyone truly got it. And Karen’s leadership made all the difference. She creates such a welcoming space and really understands what this kind of recovery takes. I’m walking away from this with tools I’ll use for life — and the confidence that I’m not alone anymore."— Emily R.
"Resilient Hearts gave me what therapy alone couldn’t — a sense of community and shared understanding. Each week built on the last, and having a clear path to follow really helped me move forward. I now have stronger boundaries, more peace, and hope for the future."— Mark D.
